  • Damon makes the plan. Damon follows the plan. Damon does the stuff that everyone else is too afraid to do because he knows what needs to be done and he will do it because he can make the tough decisions without apology. This is and always has been a big part of who he is, even when he was human.
  • Stefan relates to people very well. He says “I know what you’re going through” a lot for a reason. He can connect with people and let them know they are not alone. He has done this for Caroline, Bonnie, and Elena.
  • At the end of the day, they will have each other’s backs no matter what.

  I may not be a very big fan of either Stefan or Damon right now, but I can still observe and appreciate their dynamic and what it is that makes them work so well.

  …I agree, but I Love Stefan and Damon, and I’m a BIG Fan :D
